Today, a true American hero tried to climb Trump tower with suction cups. Why? We might never know. But Milk Crate #92 is dedicated to him.
New to Milk Crater? Here’s the skinny: When you listen to music on our site, we donate to charity. It’s quite simple, really. You discover new music AND help make the world a better place, all at the same time.
1“Cry For You” – September (3LAU Remix)
A classic dance track given new life by the one and only 3LAU (starts with BL, rhymes with ‘wow’). Toned down just a bit, but no less passionate than the original by September.
2“Creep” – Ember Island
Ember Island, with whom I am obsessed, has covered the quintessential “Creep” by Radiohead. I will, with 100% sincerity, admit I like their cover infinitely more than the original. It might just be because I desperately want more from Ember Island, but this version is magical. (PS: Sometimes YouTube is finnicky. If you don’t see a video below, try refreshing the page.)
3“Sorrow” – FOLIE
Genre: Indie Pop
I love this, but it’s hard to describe what genre it falls into. A little bit Weezer, a little bit Gorillaz, but not enough of either (or anyone else for that matter) to fully encompass their unique and awesome sound. Prep yourself for some sweet background vocals and horn sections.
4“OUT OF LOVE” – SAM HIMSELF
It isn’t often that you find a spectacular singer/songwriter who performs a track almost exclusively as a bass, but SAM HIMSELF nails it, especially when the female vocals make their debut. Desperately moody and 100% guilty of inciting emotion, “OUT OF LOVE” is a beautiful ballad that deserves a listen or 10.
5“Searching For You” – Unlike Pluto feat. Karra and Eric Zayne
Unlike Pluto is a very fitting name. While Pluto is a distant and cold dwarf planet, these beats are anything but that. The tempo variation is amazing, the vocals are on point, and the song itself can only be described as a musical journey. When you listen to every piece of this glorious puzzle, you start to notice all of the subtle nuance that make “Searching For You” a true banger.
