Altameda’s “Dirty Rain” is Alt-Country Poetry of the Highest Form

Dirty Rain

I was immediately swept away by the classic Americana feel of Altameda’s “Dirty Rain”. It’s alt-country poetry in the highest form. “Dirty Rain” is the musical embodiment of standing in the middle of flat, undiscovered, and open frontier. There’s a storm brewing in thin, long streaking clouds over yonder and you are standing there in your leather boots trying to figure out how the hell to get home. But while you scratch your head and figure it out, you’ll savor those pedal steel lines. Because that is what life is all about.

The foursome from Edmonton, Alberta is gearing up to release their debut LP, Dirty Rain, this March.
